More and More Cities across the US Are on the 4G Map
he wait may have been excruciating for many wireless enthusiasts, but it is finally over for such folks in many cities across the country thanks to the fact that an increasing amount of metropolitan areas are now completely on the 4G wireless map. The service was diligently tested and deployed in a few initial markets, starting with Baltimore, Maryland; now, however, developers know that the service is completely operational and exceeds even their own wildest dreams and it is therefore being rolled out in many more local markets across the US. Now, cities like Chicago and Atlanta and many other urban centers are able to enjoy the best of wireless connectivity, and individuals as well as business customers are beginning to learn exactly what this could mean for them.
What we're getting at here is the incredibly impact which using 4G wireless services can have on a person's or a business's way of operating and capacity for success. It's no surprise that these days in order to be successful a person needs to be able to stay on top of the ball at all times, no matter where they are'and that is precisely what fourth generation networks are allowing users to do. Such systems, with their seamless interoperability across various heterogeneous networks, are effectively eliminating the 'down-time' that many people begrudgingly have had to endure as they commute across town or make their way around the local geography for whatever reason. It's hard to remain competitive and relevant in today's market if you just stay in one place all the time (at least in most lines of business), and that means that it is necessary to get around to different destinations to visit customers, suppliers, catch meetings, and so on. While in the past this reality implied a lot of time in transit that couldn't be used for any other purpose, with the revolutionarily comprehensive urban coverage areas afforded by 4G deployments, now every moment on the move will be turned into the most efficient and effective possible.
It's something that not only businesses will be able to enjoy, of course. Individual users have been longing for such comprehensive wireless coverage areas for a long time, and finally 4G has stepped in to fill that void. And unlike previous wireless systems that only allowed light applications and uses'such as checking email and downloading very small files'now it is possible to really make the most of your mobile connection. What does that mean in specific terms? Think about fully functional mobile VoIP, or making large movie or music downloads on the run, or a wide variety of other mobile applications that require real broadband capabilities to take place. And as more and more metropolitan zones such as Chicago, Atlanta and many other markets are brought onto the 4G map, and the spaces in between each of them are brought on the map as well, soon it won't just be a matter of getting across a single city without losing the signal'it'll be a question of traveling throughout various cities with a fully functional, high speed wireless service fully intact.
